Edgar West
Edgar West, 81, of Southfield, MI, died after sunset on 22 December 2013. The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Tuesday, 24 December 2013 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi Harold Loss officiated. The family of Edgar West will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, December 25 at the residence, 21120 Constitution, Southfield MI 48076. The phone number is 248-353-0117. Religious services will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday evening. Family members include: Beloved husband of 54 1/2 years of Sandra West; Cherished father of Dr. Brandon West and Dr. Evan West; Devoted son of the late Alfred and the late Evelyn West; Brother of Parker (Jean) West, the late Leslie West, and the late Donald (the late Carmen) West; Brother in law of Joyce (Perry) Burns and Beverly (the late Michael) Kavanagh. Edgar West and his wife Sandra were the owners of Argo Fire Equipment Company, located in Detroit at 2500 22nd St. The business was sold in 2004 to Cintas. The West's are also longtime members of Temple Israel.
