Philip Marvin Levi ElkusPhilip Marvin Levi Elkus, 98, of Delray Beach, Florida, died on 04 November 2024. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, 06 November 2024 at 1:30 PM . Family members include: Beloved husband of Jean Elkus and the late Irene Elkus. Cherished father of Louie (Michele) Elkus, Steve (Gail) Elkus, and Ron Elkus. Also survived by Jean's children, Dr. Barry (Carole) Bakst and Marci (Scott) Weiss. Proud grandfather of Rebecca (Judah) Ferst, Brad Elkus, Sarah Elkus, Sammi Elkus, Michael Weinstock, Sean Bakst, Dr. Bradley (Marissa) Bakst, Alexandra (Shane) Jarmin, Monica Weiss, and Jake Weiss. Adoring great-grandfather of Noah and Micah Ferst, Josh and Marlee Weinstock, and Cameron, Cooper, and Corbin Jarmin. Loving brother of the late Floyd Elkus. Dear brother-in-law of Dr. Abraham Zellis, the late Bernice Zellis, the late Morris Mirsky, the late Saul (the late Roz) Garfinkel, and the late Shirley (the late Mort) Segerman. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Louie and Michele Elkus will be sitting shiva at their residence, 5414 Pleasant Lake Drive, West Bloomfield, MI 48322. Family and friends will be gathering on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Religious services will be held at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday mornings, at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, and 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday evenings. Steve and Gail Elkus and Ron Elkus will be gathering at Ron's residence, 10454 Lasalle Blvd, Huntington Woods, MI 48070. Family and friends will be gathering on Wednesday immediately following the interment, on Thursday, Sunday, and Monday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m., and on Friday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Religious services will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, Friday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday mornings, and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, and Monday evenings.
