Lowell Salasnek, 85, of Scottsdale, Arizona, died on 29 November 2013. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 01 December 2013 at 1:00 PM . Family members include: Beloved husband of 59 years of Beverly Salasnek; Cherished father of Jordan Salasnek, Karre (Michael) Pickens and Dana (Arthur) Tillman; Loving Papa of Reed Salasnek, Dean Salasnek, Andie Salasnek, Mindy (Joshua) Balonick, Joseph Pickens, Jacqueline Tillman and Gabrielle Tillman; Proud great grandfather of Aubrey and Brooke Balonick; Brother of Suzanne (the late Dr. Sherman) Mendelsohn; Brother-in-Law of Richard (Florence) Abel. Lowell Salasnek was an owner of Salasnek Fisheries, a wholesale fish processing and packing plant, located at 2140 Wilkens in Detroit, a company founded by his grandfather in 1891.
