Joan Meyers Jampel, 97, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan died on May 21, 2026. Beloved wife of 68 years of the late Dr. Robert Jampel. Cherished mother of Henry (Risa) Jampel, Delia Jampel (John Frank), James Jampel (Sandra Marwill) and Emily (Ted) Sherman. Proud grandmother of Catherine Jampel (Evan Henritze), Joseph Jampel (Mika Schwartz), Sarah Jampel (Adam Janofsky), Carla Frank (Robert Flaherty), Elliot Frank (Rebecca Crabtree), Mariel Frank (Joshua Goldberg), Sonya Jampel, Jacob Jampel, Serena Jampel, Tom Sherman, A.J. Sherman, and Addie Sherman. Treasured great-grandmother of Rafi, Rhea, Romi, Gil, Shai, and Arthur. Special sister of the late Muggsy (the late Richard) Klein. Dear daughter of the late Henry and the late Delia Meyers.

Shiva: Immediately following the interment service on Tuesday, family and friends will be gathering at the Shiva Center at Clover Hill Park Cemetery. The family is receiving visitors at the home of Emily and Ted Sherman at 7220 Camden Court, Bloomfield Hills, MI on Tuesday evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m. There will be a short service at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
