Obituary

Marvin Gurecki, 86, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died May 6, 2026. Beloved husband of 54 years of the late Arlene Gurecki. Cherished father of Stacey (Bruce) Welford and Kim (Rick) Kruger. Proud grandfather of Marci and Brett Welford, and Seth and Emily Kruger. Loving brother of the late Herman (the late Janet) Gurecki and the late Blanche Glazer. Dear brother-in-law of Adele (the late Alvin) Nodler, Larry (Shoshanna) Levin, Nancy (Harry) Topper, Jacki (Stephen) Silvergeit, the late Jack Vosko, and the late Gerald Glazer. Devoted son of the late Becky and the late Morris Gurecki. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

Shiva will be held through Wednesday evening at the home of Kim and Rick Kruger, 4413 Strathdale Lane, West Bloomfield, MI 48323. Family and friends will be gathering on Tuesday immediately following the interment, and on Wednesday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Religious services will be held at 7:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

Due to a severe nut allergy in the family, please do not send anything with nuts or nut products to the shiva house.
