Obituary

Arnold “Arnie” Serlin, 85, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died October 6, 2025. Beloved husband of 35 years of Phyllis Serlin. Cherished father of Andrea (Frank) Dankovich, Lauren (Fred) Green, Howard (Kyra) Bloomberg, Robert (Marianne) Bloomberg, and Marcy (David) Troy. Proud grandfather of Matthew Green, Alana Green, Sam (Megan) Bloomberg, Megan (Jordan) Wenzlaff, Allison Bloomberg, and Will Bloomberg. Adoring great-grandfather of Emerson Wenzlaff. Loving brother of Joel (Cathy) Serlin. Also survived by Andrea and Frank’s children, Blake (Lis) Dankovich and Miles Dankovich, and grandchildren, Andrew and Blakeley Dankovich, and many other loving relatives and friends.

Due to the holidays, there will not be a formal shiva. The family will be gathering informally through Sunday evening at the residence, 7424 Bridge Way, West Bloomfield, MI 48322. Family and friends will gather on Thursday immediately following the interment until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday from 1:00-4:00 p.m., and on Sunday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m.

The family is kindly requesting that no flowers be sent to the funeral or to the shiva house.
