Claire Carson, 104, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 09 October 2024. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 14 October 2024 at 1:30 PM . Family members include: She was the beloved wife of 67 years to the late George K. Carson; cherished mother of Sheila and Larry Trepeck, Merle and Charles Wolfson, and Nancy Carson and Dr. Irwin K. Carson z''l; proud grandmother of Jeffrey and Terri Trepeck, Lee and Robin Trepeck, Stacey and Danny Fishbein, Jonathan and Stephanie Carson, Julie and Sheldon Gelber, Dr. Joshua and Amy Carson, Matthew and Miriam Wolfson, and Drs. Emily and Aaron Cetner; blessed great-grandmother of 19: Sydney and Samantha Trepeck, Jamie and Andrew Trepeck, Carly, Eli and Billy Fishbein, Avi, Addison and Adler Carson, Itai Gelber, Cecelia and Isadora Carson, Elle, Jake and Liv Wolfson, George, Leo and Genevieve Cetner. Claire was the sister of Gladys and the late Melvin Steinslofer, and the late Evelyn and the late Stanley Holtz, and the daughter of the late Isadore and the late Lena Althousen. The family is thankful for her devoted caregivers, Gulya, Ada, Tanya, and Nina. Family and friends will be gathering on Monday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Temple Israel, 5725 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48323. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening.
