Karl R. Schaefer, 94, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 11 August 2024. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 15 August 2024 at 12:00 PM . Rabbi Paul Yedwab officiated. The family of Karl R. Schaefer will be gathering through the afternoon of Friday, August 16 at the residence of Lyle Schaefer, 30470 Old Stream, Southfield MI 48076. On Thursday, family and friends will gather following interment through the evening. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 on Thursday evening. On Friday, family and friends will gather from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved husband of 69 years of Rhea Schaefer. Cherished father of Neil Schaefer, Lyle Schaefer, Paul (Jodi) Schaefer, and Todd Schaefer. Proud grandfather of Dana (Zach) Heaton, Randi (Eric Schultz) Schaefer, Dylan (Tiffany Keane Schaefer) Schaefer, Bebe Schaefer, Matt (Caiti) Hughes, Evan Hughes, Samantha (Greg) Finn, Natalie Schaefer, and Scott Schaefer. Adoring great-grandfather of Maxwell Heaton and Zoe Hughes. Loving brother of the late Donald Schaefer. Dear brother-in-law of Annette Schaefer. Also survived by Jan Schaefer, Julie Schaefer, Kathy Schaefer, Devin Schaefer, and other loving relatives and friends. It is suggested that those who wish to further honor the memory of Karl R.
