Barry Allen Rosen was born on June 29, 1956. He received a BS in Pharmacy from the University of Michigan in 1980. He met his wife Debby at the College of Pharmacy and they were married in 1981. Barry loved spending time with his children Shari and Aaron, creating special memories that lasted a lifetime. He began his career as a pharmacist working at Concord Drugs in Detroit. Later on he became a partner in numerous Knight Drug pharmacies. He loved the city of Detroit and it held a special place in his heart. He always wanted to help as many people as possible in the city. Barry loved growing up with the Detroit Tigers at Tiger Stadium and was especially happy when the Tigers won the World Series in 1968. Years later he and his son Aaron and good friends traveled to see baseball stadiums all over the country. He also enjoyed University of Michigan football and basketball while he was in college and continued following them throughout his life. His favorite place to be was in Petoskey in northern Michigan where he enjoyed boating, waterskiing, fishing, biking, hiking, snow skiing, and spending time with family and friends there. In later years, he and his wife Debby divided their time between Farmington Hills, Michigan and Delray Beach, Florida. After becoming grandparents, they moved from Michigan to California to be closer to their granddaughters, Elyse and Lyla.

Barry was the beloved husband of Deborah Rosen. Cherished father of Shari (Adam) Schwarzwald and Aaron (Kelsey) Rosen. Adored grandfather of Elyse Rosen and Lyla Rosen. Loving brother of Dennis (Carol) Rosen and Keith (Karen) Rosen. Brother-in-law of the late Joel Rifkin. Dear son of the late Marvin and the late Eleanor Rosen. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
