Richard "Pepper" Mintz



Richard "Pepper" Mintz, 84, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died on 03 July 2024.

The Funeral will be held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 07 July 2024 at 1:30 PM .

Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantor Michael Smolash will officiate.

The family of Richard "Pepper" Mintz will be gathering through the evening of Monday, July 08 at the residence of Lisa and Scott Stern, 25870 Franklin Park Court, Franklin MI 48025.

Family and friends will be gathering on Sunday immediately following the interment and on Monday beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 on Sunday and Monday evenings.

Family members include:
Beloved husband of 49 years of Judy Mintz. Cherished father of Eric (Wendy Kingston) Mintz, Lisa (Scott) Stern, and Ryan Mintz. Adoring grandfather of Sabina Mintz, Juliet Mintz, Carly Stern (Kevin Naughton), Talia Stern, and Jonah Stern. Loving brother of Nancy "Candy" Mintz and Iris (Steven) Mintz-Ossakow. Dear brother-in-law of Rick (Lisa) Brenner, Abby Tamara, and Barbara Stidman. Devoted son of the late John and the late Florence Mintz. Loving uncle of Hilary, Drew (Shira), Jaime, Nicole, Zachary, David, Sara, Rebecca, and the late Dani. Special cousin of Lloyd, Shirley, and Susan. Also survived by his devoted caregivers, Keith Wilkes and Teddi Harper.
