Dr. Hershel Sandberg
Dr. Hershel Sandberg, 95, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died on 28 June 2024. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 01 July 2024 at 11:00 AM . The family of Dr. Hershel Sandberg will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, July 03 at 7448 Stony River Court, Bloomfield Hills MI 48301. Immediately following the interment service, family and friends will be gathering until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Shiva will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Family members include: Beloved husband of the late Lois Sandberg and the late Dorothy Superstine Sandberg. Cherished father of Daniel (Dawn Flint) Sandberg, Dr. Sharon (Dr. Marc Tarnopol) Sandberg, and Jacob Sandberg. Treasured grandfather of Lauren (Jake) Lewis, Erinn Sandberg, Rebecca Tarnopol, Craig Tarnopol, Drew Tarnopol, and Liana Tarnopol. Special great-grandfather of Claire Lewis and Margaux Lewis. Loving brother of the late Avery (the late Maryn) Sandberg and the late Arthur (the late Marion) Sandberg. Also survived by Dorothy's daughter, Jody (Richard) Grossman, and Dorothy's grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Hershel's caregivers, Delicia Williams and Nonita Knitter for their kindness and compassion.
