Wela Upfal, 101, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 25 June 2024. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 27 June 2024 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Aaron Starr officiated. Wela Upfal, 101, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died peacefully in her home on June 25, 2024. She is survived by her loving sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Upfal and Lynn Brouwers Upfal, and Nathan Upfal and Rosalind Zukowski; daughter-in-law, Rochelle Upfal; grandchildren, Emily Upfal Abdnour (Sam Abdnour), Julia Upfal, Jessica Upfal Pheterson (Eric Pheterson), Josh Upfal, and Emily Brouwers (Nicholas Beurkens); and great-grandchildren, Charlie Abdnour, Henry Abdnour, and Jack Pheterson. Wela was predeceased by her devoted husband, Charles Upfal, and son, Jack Upfal. Wela was lovingly cared for by Diane, Helen, Irina, and Natasha.
