Mr. Pearl was born in Detroit, Michigan on Jan. 1, 1934. Those lucky enough to know Barry will remember him as the world’s most lovable noodge. He expressed his unwavering devotion to his family and friends through well-timed jokes, mischievous pranks, and endearing nicknames. His playfulness was balanced by his genuine interest in those around him; he wanted to know how you were, what you were up to, and who he could write a letter to on your behalf. Indeed, Barry had a gift for finding the joy and humor in every moment. Memories of him will surely be accompanied by smiles––he’d have it no other way.

Mr. Pearl is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Esther Vera Pearl; daughter and son-in-law Shelly and Bobby Stoler; daughter and son-in-law René and Jeffrey Taub; daughter Julie Pearl; grandchildren Rebecca Stoler, Kayla Stoler (Alex Hansen), Carly Taub, Ella Taub, and Sara Taub; great-grandchild Ori Stoler-Hansen; sister-in-law Lee Ann Salle; brother-in-law Warren Siegel; special nieces and nephews; and other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sadie Pearl; brother Conrad (Barbara) Pearl; brother-in-law Jerry Salle, and son David Pearl.

Family and friends will be gathering immediately following the interment through Sunday afternoon until 3:30 p.m. at 285 W. Hickory Grove Rd., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302.
