Dorothy Superstine Sandberg
Dorothy Superstine Sandberg, 92, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died after sunset on 20 May 2024. The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Wednesday, 22 May 2024 at 11:00 AM . Rabbi Steven Rubenstein officiated. The family of Dorothy Superstine Sandberg will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, May 26 at the residence, 7448 Stony River Court, Bloomfield Hills MI 48301. Family and friends will be gathering on Wednesday immediately following the interment until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m., and on Thursday and Sunday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. There will be no shiva on Friday or Saturday. Religious services will be held at 7:00 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings. Family members include: Beloved wife of Dr. Hershel Sandberg and the late Dr. Milton Superstine. Cherished mother of Jody (Richard) Grossman and the late Dr. Jerry Superstine. Dear mother-in-law of Sue Wilson. Proud grandmother of Danielle (Bradley) Gordon, Samantha Superstine, Elizabeth (Brandon) Steingold, Rachel (Michael) Geller and Alyse (David) Schwartz. Adoring great-grandmother of Sidney and Charlie Gordon, Noah and Arielle Geller, and Ezra and Asher Schwartz. Loving sister of the late Max and the late Norman Linder. Dear sister-in-law of Beatrice Linder, Sharon (the late Ernie) Klein, Shimona Superstine and the late Dr. Edward Superstine. Devoted daughter of the late Molly and the late Samuel Linder. Also survived by Hershel’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
