Sheldon Goldman, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and Delray Beach, Florida, died peacefully in his home January 20th, 2024, surrounded by the warmth of his loving family.

Sheldon shared 56 years of his life with his beloved wife, Rose Rita. Together, they built a beautiful family, leaving behind daughters Ilyse Goldman (Sanford) Aaron and Andrea Goldman (David) Jacobson. Sheldon's legacy extends through his cherished grandchildren – Sophia Aaron, Alex Aaron, Lillian Beavers, Jack Beavers, Danielle (Zach Mettel, fiancé) Jacobson and Jenna Jacobson. Sheldon is survived by his beloved brother Martin Goldman.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Sheldon, born to Seymour and Martha (Katzer) Goldman, moved to Huntington Woods, Michigan. During his youth, he attended Cranbrook, Dondero High, Wayne State University, and the University of Chicago. Sheldon devoted over 57 years to the insurance industry, co-founding Lubin Schwartz & Goldman, later evolving into LSG Insurance Partners. His commitment to community service was evident through leadership roles in organizations such as Chairman of State of Israel Bonds, JCC board, and as the president of Knollwood Country Club.

Sheldon's family was at the center of his heart. He is remembered by numerous lifelong friends who, like his family, mourn his departure. Preceded in death by his parents Seymour and Martha (Katzer) Goldman, Sheldon's memory will forever be a blessing.
