Sheldon "Shel" Harrison Pringle
Sheldon "Shel" Harrison Pringle, 85, of Commerce Township, Michigan, died after sunset on 06 January 2024. The Funeral was held at Graveside at Beth El Memorial Park, 28120 W 6 Mile Rd, Livonia MI 48152 on Monday, 08 January 2024 at 11:00 AM . Rabbi Marla Hornsten officiated. Interment at Beth El Memorial Park, 28120 6 Mile Road, Livonia MI 48152.
Sheldon “Shel” Harrison Pringle, 85, of Commerce Twp, Michigan,passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2023, after valiantly battling cancer for over a decade. Shel was a lifelong Michigander. Shel was born on March 19, 1938 to Pauline and Max Pringle in Detroit. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University. He was a Certified Public Accountant for over 40 years and partner in the Charles Kaye firm. Shel loved dogs and was the proud owner of a dog for most of his adult life. He loved to play word games like Scrabble and enjoyed card games of poker and pinochle. He was a member of MENSA. Shel was predeceased by his parents, Pauline and Max Pringle and his brother Harvey Pringle. He is survived by his sister, Shirley Marshak; his niece Susan Marshak-Kroeger (Timothy Kroeger), nephew Robert “Bob” Marshak (Judy Kelly), & niece Linda Rea (Carlo Rea); great-nephews Brandon Kroeger (Tiffany Kroeger), Matthew Kroeger, Jordan Marshak, & Gabriel Marshak; & great-great nephew Jack Kroeger. Family and friends will be gathering on Monday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Rolling Hills Retirement Community, located at 3300 Crumb Road, Commerce Twp, MI 48390.
