Janice Ruth Katz, 85, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 04 December 2023. The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Thursday, 07 December 2023 at 2:00 PM . The family of Janice Ruth Katz will be gathering through the evening of Friday, December 08 at the residence of Lori and Kenneth Cantor, 4379 Strathdale Court, West Bloomfield MI 48323. Family and friends will be gathering immediately following interment on Thursday, and again on Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m. Religious services will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved wife of 54 years of the late Gerald Katz. Cherished mother of Marcie (Eric) Lipsitt, Michael (Victoria) Katz, and Lori (Kenneth) Cantor. Loving grandmother of Andrew Lipsitt, Teddi (fiance David Blank) Cantor, Zachary Cantor, Spencer Cantor, and Logan Katz. Treasured sister of Fred (Martha) Fuerst. Special aunt of Jeffrey (Lisa) Fuerst and Michael (Sharon) Fuerst. Devoted daughter of the late Adele and the late Marty Fuerst. Extraordinary caregiver and friend, Janet Nino. Also survived by many loving family members, friends, and her fur baby, Gracie.
