Arthur L. Goodman
Arthur L. Goodman, 95, of Gainesville, Florida, formerly of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 07 November 2023. The Funeral was held at Graveside at Clover Hill Park Cemetery, 2425 E. 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Monday, 13 November 2023 at 1:00 PM . Mr. Goodman served in the Korean War as a lab tech. Arthur graduated from University of Toledo and was an active Pharmacist for 55 years. He co-owned Bi-Lo Pharmacy, Westland, MI for 20 years, prior to moving to Florida. He was a loving and devoted husband for 23 years to the late Dorothy F. Kleinstein Goodman. He loved playing the violin, and was an avid swimmer, voracious reader and a worldwide traveler. He is survived by his best friend and devoted son and daughter-in-law, David J. (Dr. Mary Hurd) Goodman and daughter and son-in-law Dr. Elizabeth (David) Elkus. Grandchildren, Daniel Elkus, Audrey Elkus, Rebecca Goodman and Aden de Hoyos. He was the only child to Albert and Dorothy Vera Goodman. Family and friends will be gathering immediately following the interment until 3:30 p.m. at the Shiva Center at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
