Ellen Labes, 90, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died after sunset on 03 October 2023. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 05 October 2023 at 2:00 PM . The family of Ellen Labes will be gathering through the afternoon of Friday, October 06 at the residence, 1349 Charrington Rd., Bloomfield Hills MI 48301. Family and friends will be gathering on Thursday immediately following the interment until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved wife of 67 years of Dr. James Labes. Cherished mother of Susan (Michael) Fromm, Robert (Sheryl Markowitz) Labes, and Daniel (Dana) Labes. Proud grandmother of Jake Fromm, Casey (Andrew) Nairin, Emily (fiance Nik Royce) Labes, Peter (fiancee Addy Clark) Labes, Jordan Cohen, Arielle Cohen, Joey Labes, and Natalie Labes. Adoring great-grandmother of Rowdy Nairin. Loving sister of James (Laura) Sherman. Dear sister-in-law of the late Marvin (the late Alice) Labes. Devoted daughter of the late Sid and the late Ethel Sherman. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
