Marjorie Hecht Simon
Marjorie Hecht Simon, 101, of Huntington Woods, Michigan, died on 27 July 2023. The Funeral was held at GRAVESIDE on Thursday, 10 August 2023 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi Mark Miller officiated. Interment at Beth El Memorial Park, 28120 6 Mile Road, Livonia MI 48152.
The family of Marjorie Hecht Simon will be gathering through the evening of Friday, August 11 at 8751 Nadine Avenue, Huntington Woods MI 48070. Family and friends will be gathering on Thursday from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Religious services will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Manes Scheuer Hecht and the late Erwin Simon. Cherished mother of Betsy (David) Summer, Miriam Hecht (Ivan Zackheim), and Deborah Hecht (Joseph Falik). She is also survived by Erwin Simon's children; Mary (Alan) Loesberg, Judy (Richard) Cooper, and Richard (Sandra) Simon, as well as 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by one beloved granddaughter. Marjorie's creativity and talents came through in her watercolors, in her garden, and in her kitchen.
