Dr. Earl T. Hecker, 88, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died on 22 July 2023. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Friday, 28 July 2023 at 8:30 AM . Rabbi Natalie Shribman officiated. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
The family of Dr. Earl T. Hecker will be gathering through the evening of Tuesday, August 01 at the residence, 3655 Forest Hill Road, Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. There will be visitation at the residence on Friday July 28, Saturday July 29, and Sunday July 30 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. The pool will be open at the residence during the visitation hours. Shiva will be held on Sunday July 30, Monday July 31 and Tuesday August 01 beginning at 6:00 p.m., with religious services being held each evening at 7:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved husband of 61 years of Elaine Hecker. Cherished father of Nancy (Johannes Hecker Denschlag) Hecker-Denschlag, Deborah Hecker, Susan Hecker, and Jennifer (Timothy) Anderson. Proud grandfather of Joshua and Simon Denschlag, Harrison, Aden, and Benjamin Hecker, Isaac Herzenberg, Alex “Trinle” Tsomo, and Jack and Elijah Anderson. Adoring great-grandfather of Sofia Tsomo. Loving brother of Marlene (Rod) Verner and the late Karen (the late Roland) Van Fleet. Dear brother-in-law of the late Joseph Cohen and the late Daniel (the late Gail) Cohen.
