Shirley Jean Hodges, 85, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died on 10 July 2023. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 13 July 2023 at 10:00 AM . Rabbi Shalom Kantor officiated. The family of Shirley Jean Hodges will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, July 16 at the residence of Tiffany and Daniel Hodges, 903 Lemay, Novi MI 48377. Family and friends will be gathering on Thursday and Sunday from 4:30-7:00 p.m. On Monday and Tuesday, the family will be at B'nai Moshe from 4:00 p.m. through the completion of afternoon and evening services. There will be no shiva on those days at the family residence. B'nai Moshe is located at 6800 Drake Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48322. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Leonard "Lenoy" Sanders and the late Booker Thompson Hodges. Devoted mother of Karen (Lawrence) Lauderdale, Leonard (Jeannie) Sanders, the late Denise (David) Brown, Edward Michael Sanders, Daniel "Daniel Yosaf Ben Yacob Daniel" (Tiffany) Hodges, and Evelyn Campbell "Chavah Mirriam bat Yacob Daniel." Cherished sister of the late Arthur (Mary Joyce) Haywood and Bobbie Jean. Predeceased by her loving parents, Edward Theodore Braswell and Bennie Mae Haywood and her most special grandparents, Dattie Lee (Smith) Haywood and Arthur Haywood. Also survived by many, many, many cherished grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
