Dr. Sheldon PlotnikDr. Sheldon Plotnik of Scottsdale, Arizona formerly of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 15 June 2023. The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Tuesday, 20 June 2023 at 10:00 AM . Rabbi Jennifer Kaluzny officiated. The family of Dr. Sheldon Plotnik will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, June 21 at the residence of Dr. Robert and Carolann Goode, 7370 Village Square Drive, West Bloomfield MI 48322. Family and friends will be gathering immediately following the interment service on Tuesday until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Religious services will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved husband of Phyllis Loewenstein and the late Joan Plotnik. Cherished father of Dr. Ronald (Joy) Plotnik, Carolann (Dr. Robert) Goode, Dr. James Plotnik (Alison Rabin), Nancy (Lawrence) Koplow. Loving Poppy of Dr. Erin Goode, Jamie Goode, Randi Goode, Paige Koplow, Allison Plotnik, Benjamin Plotnik, Kailie Plotnik, Samantha Plotnik and Josh Plotnik. Dear brother of Dr. Gilbert (Ruth) Plotnik and the late Dr. Harold (MaryKay) Plotnik. Devoted son of the late Mary and the late Benjamin Plotnik. Also survived by Phyllis’s loving family including Judy (Scott) Roberts, Mark (Karen) Loewenstein, Rick (Dana) Loewenstein, Michael Loewenstein, and her ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends. Dr. Plotnik was a Jewish War Veteran and achieved the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army. As a 21-year survivor of leukemia, you can honor Dr. Plotnik by donating to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
