Joan Behrmann, 77, of Deerfield, Illinois, died after sunset on 23 April 2024. The Funeral was held at Graveside at Beth El Memorial Park, 28120 W 6 Mile Rd, Livonia MI 48152 on Sunday, 28 April 2024 at 10:30 AM . Rabbi Paul Yedwab officiated. Family members include: Cherished mother of Marcy (Jonathan) Farrell, Rebecca (Joshua Rubin) Behrmann, and Simon (Rachel) Behrmann. Proud grandmother of Sammy Frank, Avi Frank, Amelie Rubin, and Bailey Rubin. Loving sister of Larry (Kristine Johnson) Newman. Devoted daughter of the late Helen and the late Sidney Newman, Jr. The family of Joan Behrmann will be sitting shiva through the evening of Sunday, May 5 in Virginia at the residence of Rebecca Behrmann and Joshua Rubin. Beginning on Saturday, May 4 and continuing through Sunday May 5, Marcy Farrell and her family will be sitting shiva at their residence in New York. There will be no shiva on Monday or Tuesday due to Passover.
