David Brody, 82, of Southfield, MIchigan, died on 11 May 2012. The funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 14 May 2012 at 10:00 AM . Rabbi David Nelson and Cantor Samuel Greenbaum officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial Park.
The family of David Brody will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, May 16 at the residence, 28745 Hallcroft Court, Southfield Mi 48034 for friends to call. The phone number is 248-352-2248. Religious Services will be held at 7:00 PM. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Evenings. Family members include: Beloved Husband of almost 56 years of Susan Brody; Cherished Father of Cynthia Brody, Alice Brody and Ron Ross and Diane Brody and Todd Schafer; Devoted and adored grandfather of James Ross, Charles Starkman, Adam Ross and Meredith Starkman; Devoted son of the late Gerald and the late Fay Brody and loving brother of the late Joseph Brody; Brother in Law of Leonard and Peggy Pernick and the late Pearl (the late Abe) Friedman; Also survived by Mandy Andrews, Rob Starkman, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his friends at Congregation Beth Shalom and his associates at Hubbell, Roth and Clark, where he had a 40+ year career as a Civil Engineer.
