Dr. Alfred Bernard Frank, 88, of Beverly Hills, MI, died on 26 April 2012. The funeral was held at Graveside on Sunday, 29 April 2012 at 12:30 PM . Rabbi Joseph Krakoff officiated. Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.
The family of Dr. Alfred Bernard Frank will be gathering through the afternoon of Sunday, April 29 at the residence of David and Kay Lurie, 755 Lakeview, Birmingham Mi 48009 for friends to call. Family members include: Beloved husband of 45 years of Lois Frank. Also survived by David (Kay) Lurie, Roger (Barbara) Lurie, Robert (Melissa) Lurie and Thomas (Trish) Lurie. Loving grandfather of Annie (John) Charters, Richard Lurie, Rob Lurie, Ben Lurie, Jason Lurie, Chris Lurie, John Robert Lurie, T.J. Lurie, Jacob Lurie and John W. Lurie. Devoted great grandfather of Max Charters. Dr. Alfred Frank was born in Detroit but raised in Petoskey, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan and graduated from University of Michigan Dental School. He was a Captain in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Farmington Band for 43 years, a percussionist and served on the Board of Directors for the band. He also played in the University of Michigan marching band under the leadership of Dr. William Revelli. Dr. Alfred Frank practiced Dentistry in Redford, Michigan.
